Three vacation homes, a sea view, and stone that unifies the entire space. In this project in Crikvenica, Rustik Kamen materials are part of a cohesive narrative \u2013 from facades and retaining walls to terraces, stairs, pool edges, and interior walls.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

The Mediterranean ambiance here is palpable in the interplay of textures and colors: the varied surface of the stone, tranquil gray tones, olive tree canopies, and the blue of the pools. The contemporary lines of the houses lend clarity to the space, while the stone claddings introduce warmth and connect the architecture with its coastal surroundings.<\/p>\n

The property, comprising three accommodation units, is designed so that each house has its own outdoor relaxation area. The shared material selection unifies the houses into a distinctive whole, while allowing for sufficient diversity in details and surface arrangements.<\/p>\n<\/div>

MONTE as a Link Between Exterior and Interior<\/h3><\/div>

The facades feature MONTE 21640<\/a> decorative stone, whose irregular shapes and pronounced grout lines create the impression of a traditional stone wall. In combination with smooth, light facade surfaces, its texture is particularly highlighted.<\/p>\n

On houses with simple lines and gabled roofs, the stone emphasizes the facade’s form, while on the house with blue shutters, it further accentuates the coastal character. The same model thus connects diverse architectural details.<\/p>\n<\/div>

MONTE extends from the facades to the retaining walls, following the varying terrain levels and framing the terraces. The repetition of stone provides continuity throughout the entire property: walls that separate individual areas simultaneously connect them visually. For the finishing of the retaining walls, bush-hammered slabs 40000<\/a> were used, completing the look of the stone surfaces.<\/p>\n

MONTE also appears on interior walls, continuing the same narrative within the houses. Its pronounced texture brings warmth to the space and beautifully complements smooth wall surfaces and contemporary furniture. The repetition of the same cladding stylistically links the indoor and outdoor areas, making stone a recognizable element of the entire project.<\/p>\n<\/div>

CASTELLO Around the Pool \u2013 From Flooring to Finishing Edge<\/h3><\/div>

Outdoor spaces are a crucial part of the experience these homes offer. The poolside terraces are envisioned as places for morning coffee, lounging, and evening gatherings around the table, with the flooring connecting all these zones.<\/p>\n

For the areas around the pool, CASTELLO 40000<\/a> was selected. The appearance of the slabs and the rhythm of their arrangement complement the stone walls, creating a harmonious base for outdoor furniture, greenery, and water features.<\/p>\n

The solution for the pool edges is particularly interesting. In this project, the pool coping was crafted from CASTELLO flooring elements, even though it is not part of its standard offering. This maintained material continuity between the terrace and the pool itself, with a custom execution tailored to the project.<\/p>\n

CASTELLO flooring was also used for the stairs, connecting different levels of the outdoor space. Such details precisely demonstrate how a harmonized material selection can contribute to the comprehensive appearance of the property.<\/p>\n<\/div>

During the day, the forms of the stone, the interplay of light and darker tones, and the contrast with the blue of the pool are in the foreground. In the evening, lighting accentuates the relief of the facades and retaining walls, and the terraces acquire a more intimate atmosphere. With illuminated olive trees and pools, the stone surfaces become a backdrop for outdoor living. Materials are repeated throughout the project, but the changing light reveals their different details.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Harmonized Materials and Execution by the Rustik Kamen Team<\/h3><\/div>

In addition to the claddings, the execution utilized RUSTIK SC<\/a> adhesive, RUSTIK SG<\/a> grout in gray-brown, and RUSTIK SEAL<\/a> impregnation. The gray-brown grout complements the stone tones and emphasizes the outlines of individual elements.<\/p>\n

The installation of all aforementioned products was performed by the Rustik Kamen team, including the cladding of facades and retaining walls, as well as the execution of flooring surfaces, stairs, and custom pool edges.<\/p>\n<\/div>
